George has been making noises that resemble music as long as anyone can remember. As a baby he loved to play the pots and pans to his Dad's Classical and Blues records. In his youth he played Trumpet and other horns in the Seattle Youth Symphony and various local Seattle jazz bands. Not wanting to be labeled a band geek, he moved to The Bay Area and reincarnated himself as a guitarist/bassist for West Coast bands such as San Francisco's Stinkeye and San Jose's The Noisy Neighbors. Eventually, he moved to New Orleans and discovered Horn players were cool after all. He took up with the Jefferson City Buzzards and hosted after-hours jams on his front porch (he lived only a block away from famous Tipitina's night club). Somehow he ended up with Fats Wallers' piano, which he donated to the local bar upon moving back to The Bay Area. Long story short, he's been blessed to play with some amazing line-ups and written tons of songs along the way. George has a passion for all music that is real - music that makes you really feel, really think or really move. His latest effort is the solo album "Don't Encourage Him" which he wrote, arranged, produced and recorded himself,  and on which he played all the instruments, sang all the vocals (almost) and even did the artwork.
